The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® is to "lift children and families to a better tomorrow." For families of children receiving treatment at area medical facilities, the Ronald McDonald House® serves as a home-away-from-home. Other families of hospitalized children are able to find an area of respite within the walls of their child's hospital by retreating into a Ronald McDonald Family Room.®
Thousands of families come to Columbia each year for specialized treatment that may not yet be available in their home community. Their stress is lessened by Ronald McDonald House Charities due in large part to the support we receive from generous donors and volunteers.
